Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much are tickets?
A: Prices for shows vary depending on the show and the venue, but our Clown Box: On Tap! shows are always $5, and our Lincoln Center shows run between $5 and $15.
Q: Can we get a group discount?
A: Yes! We'd love to cut you a deal for your group of 12 or more if you contact us prior to the show. We cannot give group discounts at the door, but get in touch with us in advance, and we'll hook you up!
Q: When and where is the next show?
A: There are a couple different ways to find the next show. First, there's the box in the upper right corner of the screen right now. Second, you can look at our Shows page. Third, you can call the Clown Box Hotline and 303-800-BOX1.
Q: Is the show clean?
A: We strive to produce public shows that our mothers would be proud of. We will strive to avoid content that is excessively gross, offensive, or off-color. However, we do at times deal with adult subject matter. Consequently, we would not recommend public shows for children under 12, but as a parent, it's up to you. For private shows, we will gladly adjust the content-rating of the show to the customer's desire.
Q: How can I join the group?
A: Periodically, Clown Box will hold public auditions. To be notified when auditions are held, contact us. In the future, Clown Box also hopes to open an the Clown Box Improv Academy which will train intersted persons in the core skills of improv.
Q: Where can I learn more about improv?
A: Clown Box recommends the Colorado State University student organization Improvisational Acting at CSU for an introduction to improv. The organization generally puts on semester-long courses free of charge. For more information, pull aside one of our performers at a show.
Q: Are you guys on Facebook?
A: We totally are! If you would like to become the most cherished of our virtual friends, you can do that
here. We also send out show invites through facebook, so become a fan and you'll get the latest in your feed.
